How to install WordPress using Softaculous

Overview WordPress is the world's most popular content management system (CMS). With Softaculous, you can install WordPress in just a few clicks.

Prerequisites

An active hosting account with IPOW

Access to cPanel

Step-by-Step Installation

Step 1: Log into cPanel Access your cPanel by going to yourdomain.com/cpanel or through your IPOW dashboard.

Step 2: Find Softaculous In cPanel, scroll down to the "Software" section and click on "Softaculous Apps Installer".

Step 3: Select WordPress In Softaculous, find WordPress in the scripts list or use the search bar. Click on the WordPress icon.

Step 4: Click Install Click the "Install Now" button to begin the installation process.

Step 5: Configure Your Installation

**Choose Protocol:** Select http:// or https:// (we recommend https if you have SSL)

**Choose Domain:** Select the domain where you want to install WordPress

**In Directory:** Leave blank to install on the main domain, or enter a folder name

**Site Name:** Enter your website name

**Site Description:** Enter a brief description

**Admin Username:** Choose a secure username (avoid "admin")

**Admin Password:** Use a strong password

**Admin Email:** Enter your email address

Step 6: Complete Installation Click "Install" at the bottom of the page. Softaculous will install WordPress and provide you with your login URL.
