Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
This Acceptable Use Policy outlines specific prohibited activities on the IPOW Hosting network. Violations may result in immediate service suspension or termination.
1. Prohibited Content
You may not use our services to store, publish, or distribute:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) - reported immediately to authorities.
- Copyrighted material without authorization (Warez, torrent trackers, pirated software).
- Phishing sites, scam pages, or fraudulent investment schemes.
- Hate speech or content promoting violence against individuals or groups.
2. Network Abuse
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Sending Unsolicited Bulk Email (SPAM) or hosting spam support services.
- Operating Botnets or Command & Control (C2) servers.
- Launching Denial of Service (DoS/DDoS) attacks against others.
- Network scanning, probing, or unauthorized penetration testing.
3. Resource Usage (Shared Hosting)
To ensure stability for all users on shared servers, accounts may not:
- Use more than 25% of system resources (CPU/RAM) for longer than 90 seconds.
- Run public file exchange services or high-traffic file downloads.
- Run background daemons (e.g., IRC bots, eggdrops) without permission.
- Use the storage for backups of content not related to the hosted website.
4. Reporting Abuse
To report a violation of this policy, please email abuse@ipowhosting.com with relevant logs and evidence.
